The Ministry of National Education and the KGF are collaborating to support youth employment. A cooperation protocol will be signed between the Ministry and the KGF to increase youth employment and production capacity. This protocol will encourage young people aged 29 and under who graduated from vocational and technical secondary schools to start their own businesses through entrepreneurship and to be employed by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in their respective fields, using the KGF portfolio guarantee.
The "Vocational Education Collaboration Protocol" aims to electronically share data and information to support young graduates of vocational and technical secondary schools to start their own businesses and to be employed by SMEs in their respective fields.
The protocol envisions establishing a guarantee mechanism for loans to be provided to SMEs established by and employing graduates. Information and guidance activities regarding the support to be provided will be carried out in accordance with the cooperation protocol, which also includes information transfer via a registered network service to be established in IT systems.
KGF to allocate a budget of 3.75 billion TL
Under the protocol, KGF plans to allocate approximately 3.75 billion TL to support access to credit for entrepreneurs who graduate from vocational and technical secondary schools and establish businesses in their respective fields, as well as SMEs that employ graduates in their respective fields.
The collaboration to support young entrepreneurship aims to provide significant added value by strengthening the link between vocational education and employment and directly contributing to production and employment.
As a corporate guarantee institution, KGF provides access to credit for SMEs and non-SME businesses that are unable to adequately benefit from various credit and support opportunities due to insufficient collateral, through its joint guarantor role.
